Maxxis is offering several tires in a new Double Down casing option aimed at the Enduro and aggressive Trail/All-Mountain market. The dual ply, 120tpi carcass has a folding kevlar bead and butyl insert. It adds about 100 grams over an EXO tire, but increases sidewall support and pinch flat protection.

The casing will initially be available on Minion DHF, Shorty, Aggressor, and Tomahawk tires.
