Spank's much loved Oozy Trail wheels were the first to get the Bead Bite profile, and continue in 2016. New for the coming year is a wider Trail345 rim profile (30.5mm internal), the use of 32 straight-pull spokes (up from 28), a wider bead set, and a shot-peened finish with scratch resistant laser engraved logos for greater durability in the looks department.
Another update is a larger hub flanges, which require shorter (lighter) spokes. The wheels include a tubeless strip and valves and go for $649. All Spank wheels are hand laced and trued.
