If you're a mom or dad with a grom that shreds, you may have run into an issue when it came time to replace their wheels. Up until now there haven't been many notable aftermarket upgrades in this department, so Spank set out to make a DH-worthy wheelset at a reasonable weight. You'll find these under the next generation of super shredders, including the Hallahan brothers, Finn Finestone, Jackson Goldstone and Aiden Greanya.
The hubs use a Spike hub body with j-bend spokes and Oozy internals. Brass nipples also help ensure they'll last until the kid is old enough to buy his own set the next time around.
For the rim, Spank uses their Oobah profile with a 23mm internal width that's meant to pair well with 2.35-inch tires. They'll come in 20 and 24-inch sizes.
