No cables? No wires? That's right. Magura's new 150mm travel adjustable seatpost is electronically actuated, infinitely adjustable, and will last 400 cycles on a full charge.

The post uses Magura's eLECT technology also found in the line of suspension components, which means the same bar-mounted remote can be used to adjust the fork, shock, and seatpost (each with one button).

Just before the battery dies the post will revert to a manual adjustment mode, requiring the rider to activate a small switch under the seat. Recharging is done using a Micro USB cable.

It has hydraulic internals with an air assist that can be tweaked to adjust the post's return speed.

Magura expects the post to be available in late October. It'll sell for 400 EUR, and weighs 595 grams including the remote.
