9point8 was showing their new Fall Line R post, which can be cut down to size for smaller frames. While the new post is intended for XC and cross riding, it’s only available with 75mm of travel. Left uncut, the post weighs only 490-grams, and when the maximum length of post is cut the weight drops to 339-grams, making it lighter than its all-carbon competition.
9point8 does make a version that is 125mm trail, but this post cannot be cut down to size.
Both new posts are available in both 30.9 and 31.6mm and feature a cable actuated mechanical brake allowing for infinite adjustability. The Fall Line R “cuttable” post retails for $489, while the 125mm version goes for $459.
