Magura’s new MT Trail Sport is a budget version of their MT Trail Carbon brakes. What makes it budget? Magura omitted the carbon master cylinder and carbon lever blade, which brings down the cost to $275 for the set (no rotors or adapters). The brakes weigh roughly 485g per set, which put them about 55g heavier than the MT Trail Carbon brakes. The change in materials is where the differences end with the MT Trail Sport brakes featuring a four-position front caliper and a 2 piston rear.
