From the outside it won't appear as though much has changed with FOX's lineup, but on the inside you'll find several updates that improve the function of many of their products. The Float DPS shock, however, is visually different with a new one-piece air sleeve.
The Float X2 sees improved seals, better damping and oil flow, as well as metric sizing. It's also now offered in a special version to fit Specialized's yoke shock mount.
On the fork side, riders that like black will be pumped on the 36 Performance Elite Series fork, which is "basically the Factory version but black." The 36 sees pretty substantial updates to the internals which you can read about in our First Ride feature. Keep an eye out for all-black 40 forks to pop up this season as well.
