The Hellkat and Helldriver are two new downhill offerings from Kenda which were developed in collaboration with both Mick and Tracey Hannah. Designed for a wide range of conditions, these tires feature a number of built-in puncture protection layers in the casing. With beefed up sidewalls via Kenda’s KVS (Kenda Vector Shield) along with extra puncture prevention with their Iron Cloak Belt, the tires are said to offer a light-weight casing shield with 285% higher cut resistance than standard tires.

The tubeless ready DH tires also feature a new compound from Kenda, which is based off of their current Race Stick-E Rubber (RSR). Both tires are available in 27.5x2.40” and the Hellkat weighs 1,170g (+/- 59g, steel bead) with the Helldriver weighing 972g (+/- 49g, folding bead). Stay tuned for our in-depth test aboard the new rubber, dropping later this summer.
