RST's infinitely-adjustable dropper post is cable actuated and uses a hydraulic cartridge. The post cycles through needle bearings and an Igus bushing inside. The best part? It's just $290. Provided it's durable and functions as expected it could be a great solution for many riders, although it's a bit hefty at 680-720g. A 150mm travel version is planned for the future.
