MRP's Core Series chainguides aim to bring their chain retention down to a very affordable price point. This 1X guide uses a glass-filled composite backplate and nylon upper guide that works with 10, 11, and 12-speed drivetrains. It works with 28-34 tooth chainrings (oval compatible up to 32 teet), weighs just 33g, and costs $39.95.
