id happily pay big money that that - i hate having to move my thumb and put unnatural pressure on my thumb joint.

Yup, a photo has been shown and it has been mentioned that it should already have been released. There's apparently a delay and supposedly it's holding up releases of new bikes as well.

Given the language, I say it (so gx). So I guess it's a matter of days?

Based on a Bosch equipped e-bike I was testing out just over a week ago, I'd say the speed sensor (there was no magnet to be seen on the rear wheel). Might be wrong though.

Tyrewiz….. the thing that connects to an app and tells you the tyre pressures.

It looks like the Bosch smart system magnet as the speed sensor is inside the motor.

Bosch system speed sensor magnet. It takes it off the rotor and puts it on the valve stem. Frame manufactures don't have to make provisions for a speed sensor back at the rear end any more! Big plus to not have a hole at the seatstay/chainstay.

How many sorcery chips does a guy need to offset the weight of that speed sensor magnet?

All of the sorcery chips Laughing

In all seriousness though the magnet isn't too heavy. Very little noticeable imbalance even at 20mph on trail. Now in the bike stand you will probably notice it but it's not any worse than 120ml of Stan's flowing around in your tire...

Definitely not as bad as the insert lapping up all the Stan's fluid and making a huge coral like blob of all the latex bits that wedges between the tyre and the insert making you jump around riding on tarmac.

Yeah, but it’s a magnet….

wait, lemme put the sarcasm font on

Yeah, but it’s a magnet, so it’ll be attracted to the earth

I’ll try to stop the derailment!

Isn't that Joe Connell in the back of that photo? Doesn't he ride for Privateer?

Cable clamp in the headtube definitely says privateer.

Does nobody else notice the release of the pinion integrated drivetrain system?

Now that the Pivot prototype's been out in the open for a bit, I decided to review the available shots/footage of the Spesh prototype and I am almost certain there's no concentric link to the BB. There's just no clearance from what I can see, and having tried all sorts of weird link configurations in Linkage (including a six-bar one that essentially acted like the old Demo with a completely forward axle path) it just doesn't make sense in any layout. What does make sense to me is those three bolts indicating a modular BB, which I believe @paddydigital suggested a while back, and the room between the bash guard and chainstay suggests a 'pull'-style linkage similar to the Supreme DH V4 (which is backed up by some shots of the prototype last year with a clear pivot visible in the fabric cover).

I made a couple changes to my model in Linkage to update it accordingly; mainly it just seems to have a more rising rate than the previous generation (and overall progression can vary wildly but we can't see anything so I went with a slightly more moderate amount).

IMG 1025On his Instagram he already has some videos of it in action. Looks very finalised if they are showing it like this now.

Regardless of the new one if I would buy a new Enduro frame it would definitely be the Privateer.

As a current Privateer owner, those are definitely the same headtube cable clamps as the current generation. looks like it has two position for the shock (mullet compatible) and the rear dropouts are now adjustable. Plus it's got a ton more room in the front triangle, but I like the lower slung look of the current 161 more.
