Thomson has a number of new seatposts in the works, the most exciting of which is a prototype 2.0 version of their dropper post.
The post is 12-18 months out from retail availability and will feature an updated cartridge, zero-offset head, smoother actuation and will be shop serviceable. There is also a new remote which features an improved tactile feel and the ability to run both perpendicular to your bar and under your bar. The new remote also clamps on the wire versus mashing it with a set screw.
On the non-dropper side, Thomson has a new Masterpiece carbon seat post. This post has a very small weight advantage but the major draw is a longer fatigue life than the aluminum Masterpiece. Finally, there’s also a new setback post coming from Thomson soon.
