The 2.6” tire width continues to gain steam. Following the introduction of models by both Specialized and Schwalbe, Maxxis is also joining the game with the new Forecaster tire. The tire has an aggressive tread pattern, meant as a do-it-all for most if not all trail conditions and strikes a nice balance between a standard trail tire and a Plus-size tire, without some of the clearance issues associated with 27.5+.
