Abus was showing off a clever new locking system for individual components like wheels and seatposts. Dropper posts are expensive as we all know, and this simple device gives some sense of security when it comes to your bike components.
Unknown to many thieves, the Nutfix can only be opened when it’s on its side, meaning that when your bike is standing vertically there’s nothing to grab hold of or loosen – your seatclamp or wheel skewer for instance – however when you tip your bike over, it lifts up easily to let you insert a wrench and adjust as needed.
