Gates is now working with gearbox manufacturer Pinion on a new application for Gates’ Belt Drive System – specifically on hardtails for the time being. Gates boasts a three times longer lifespan compared to a typical chain, reduced maintenance, and less noise. It pairs with Pinion’s p1.18 and p1.12 gearboxes which feature a 5-year warranty and an impressive gear range.
