RST is getting into the dropper game with their new Elev8 post. This post features infinite adjustment with a hydraulic cartridge, is air sprung, cable actuated, comes in 30.9 and 31.6mm diameters, plus 125 and 150mm travel options. Internally, the post has a rectangular shaft that rolls on needle bearings.
RST says service is very simple and that the replacement cartridge costs considerably less than others on the market. The post itself has a target MSRP of just $290 which is also a very competitive price. Both stealth and external versions are available, and the lever will work over or under the bars.
