SKS introduced us to two different methods for inflating your tubeless tires that they’ve designed for 2017, including the SKS Rideair inflation chamber. As you’d expect, you pressurize the Rideair chamber using a standard floor pump to 200 psi and then attach the chamber to your valve core, press a button and it quickly dumps a whole lot of air in there to seat your bead. The SKS Rideair was designed to fit in a water bottle holder so it could also replace your pump - just pressurize it before heading out and you should have enough air with you to fill a flat tire. The Rideair will retail for $69.99 as shown here (there is also a version with an integrated wire lock).

Also new from SKS is the TL Head. The TL Head allows you to screw a CO2 cartridge on to get a larger burst of air from a standard SKS floor pump, when attempting to seat tubeless tires. What’s neat about this is that not only does it give you a little bit of a boost in air pressure and volume, but it allows you to almost immediately start pumping which can help seat tricky beads. The TL Head includes 2 CO2 cartridges and retails for $32.99.
