Also new from Industry Nine for 2017 is an improved version of the Matchstix which we saw last year at Interbike. These clever through-axles store 10 different tools inside the axles, so you’re always prepared for whatever a ride may throw at you.
Following last year’s introduction Industry Nine sought to make the system a bit stronger and also a bit more ergonomic with a redesigned handle.
The bits are made out of stainless steel to prevent corrosion and we were very impressed with the number of repairs you can potentially tackle trailside with the Matchstix system.
You’re looking at $210 for a full set (front and rear axles) or $160 for the front axle only. Availability is expected October 12th and the system will fit both FOX and RockShox forks, in Boost and non-Boost versions.
