Hutchinson is going big with their Racing Lab technology, which is aimed at their world class teams and riders. The R&D used in these tires may trickle down into 2018 products, but nothing is set in stone at this point.

Hutchinson continues to develop tires for enduro riders with the Taipan and Toro options. Taipan runs rear and Toro up front and there are even e-bike-specific options that are more reinforced.

Hutchinson's KOLOSS options are a 27.5+ version of existing treads. Rather than just add volume, Hutchinson has added sidewall support to minimize tire roll and pinch flats while keeping the tread area single ply with a weight of about 900g per tire.
