The new Pinion C1.12 gearbox takes queues from the established drive unit but is now more compact, more affordable, and lighter weight. The die-cast magnesium alloy body saves 250g over the previous aluminum body and boasts a narrower Q-factor down at 166mm versus 174mm. The chainline is 4mm narrower than before with adjustable cable routing and an improved oil-changing process thanks to a new drain and fill port. With the C1.12 gearbox, you get 12 gears with 600% range at the weight of 2,100g.
