Stan's NoTubes introduced their new S1 Series wheels, which are claimed to be built for long life, low maintenance, and outstanding value. The wheels have 6061 alloy rims and are available in 6 different widths. Due to the material change, deeper profile, and thicker walls, they're about 50 to 70g heavier than Stan's MK3 rims but offer better impact strength for a wider range of use. Internal widths range from 23mm to 38mm which can accommodate tires from 2 to 3.5 inches in width. S1 wheels use 32 spokes front and rear, come in Boost and standard axle sizes, and 27.5 and 29-inch varieties with some models in 26. Retail is $455 per set, regardless of configuration.
