Interesting little addition to the Deity stem on the new Levo SL. Checked their website but doesn't seem to be an add on or option anywhere. Definitely cleans up the cockpit even more with the new SRAM levers.

Now,
I am in no way an advocate for headset cable routing, but Shirley youd have to agree, that, from a distance looks great. So much so that the front brake line kinda sticks out like a sore thumb.
Sounds like commencal might’ve lost enough tempo sales due to cable routing they’ve learned their lesson

1. do we believe they are going to have two separate bikes (this seems like a long shot)
2. or can you run the cables either way depending on your preference, this would make for a cool litmus test.
(again, I think that bike looks great with the cables tidy like that)
3. I'm unsure how to feel about the exchange. Our current society has a confidence in their own singular opinion that sometimes catches me off guard. Im both astounded and worried that the feedback loop can sometimes be both to quick, and flexible, but here we are

I would think they would just allow for both options on the same frame. If they don't offer you a 'full' top headset cover (without holes for cables) you'll likely end up with some pretty crummy bearings very quickly.

Also seems weird to design a bike that runs the cable through the headset considering the EDN uses Race Lab plates that would definitely interfere with headset routing. Which might be why Commencal could be moving away on the V5 Meta.

Looks to be more straightforward, not worse. Brake hoses just go behind the plate. I thought that was one of the arguments for headset routing being superior.
I expect they'll just tell the factory to machine some cable ports into the production tubes? Doesn't seem like that big of a deal on an alloy frame and they can probably use the rubber grommets from the previous gen.
Use NSB brake adapters, overlord stem and recently got their new bb. All top notch product.

Either that or 420mm
Amaury Pierron testing a new skinsuit.
The elusive aeromullet too!
the infamous once-every-decade-someone-poses-nude-on-their-mtb shot strikes again.
Was Giove the last one?
Probably really cuts down the number of pesky fans asking if they can sit on the bike for a photo.
Those come from SRAM, not Deity.
See end of this article - https://www.pinkbike.com/news/sram-releases-stealth-brake-lineup.html
Definitely missed that bit of info when they came out. Thanks!
Bastard. I had forgot about that one.

.......And dont call me Shirley.....
I’m not even going to quote your post Noah. May we never have to see that photo of Lord Bummer ever again. Please and thank you.

Spotted this one. Obviously it’s the old prototype but I never saw any photos of it with paint.![IMG 1527](https://p.vitalmtb.com/styles/s1200/s3/photos/inline/basic/IMG_1527.jpeg?VersionId=nn4PeRwlez0Ly1AZ4HA4ml7mdfKowR6Q&itok=pebvpnMb)

But do we even see holes in the frame of Camile's bike? That's a prerequisite for non headset routing (unless it's all external??).
Maybe every bike comes with a drill bit.![Laughing](/modules/custom/vital_core/smileys/laughing.png)
In all seriousness it'd be interesting to see sales figures at the end of the year to see which version is most popular.
Through headset routed, for sure.

Perhaps the other option would be stick on hose/cable guides?

Anyone have any intel on what Forbidden is announcing next week?
