Knowing well what physics has to say about inertia and acceleration, e*thirteen aims to keep rim weigh to a minimum. The 23.5mm internal width rims now feature a "LEX" light extrusion design where driveside spokes attach to the rim at reinforced points, and weight is saved by using less material for the non-driveside.
Hubs have 6-degree engagement and an XD driver is included with every wheelset. They have oversized flanges so that spoke length can be decreased, saving more weight and increasing wheel stiffness.
