EVOC introduced us to two new hydration packs that slot in between the Protector series and other more cross-country oriented offerings. Lacking the backprotector but featuring a raised back panel for maximum ventilation, the series features a 12 liter pack (the Stage) and an 18 liter version (the Trace).
Each pack is offered in a brightly colored option as well as a more subdued style. They all provide a full compliment of technical features, such as cargo leashes, helmet carriers for full face and half shell helmets, rain covers, dedicated tool storage and a separate hydration bladder compartment (sold with a bladder). The Trace weighs in a just about 1kg, while the small Stage tips the scales at 900 grams.
