If you find yourself wearing DeFeet socks in the next few years, you’ve probably got about three recycled water bottles around your feet. DeFeet is working together with Repreve, a company in North Carolina, to turn plastic water bottles into quality textile fiber. They plan to convert over their entire line of socks, except for the wool and Thermeator socks which will be made from recycled plastic.
