New 2017 Sombrio Jerseys and Jackets

Sombrio is nailing it again with some great looks and prints for 2017. Looking to their own backyard in Vancouver, B.C., this year’s designs draw inspiration from swirling rock pools, pine cones, wave breaks coming into shore, and forest images from Canadian mountain bike photographer, Margus Riga. There is also a retro S, O, M, B, R, I, O print for funsies.

With so many great pieces it’s hard to pick the highlights. The new Valley jersey has a nice, casual look and will be great for hotter days. This jersey will be made entirely of Sombrio’s Chill Mesh fabric. This fabric is super lightweight, soft, and treated with Xylitol which produces a chilling sensation when it comes in contact with your sweat. Unlike the samples here at Interbike, the final Valley jersey will not have a pocket. This jersey will retail for $65.

Another new jersey is the Noble Jersey. This 3/4 sleeve jersey has Chill Mesh in the shoulders/upper body and will replace the Pedigree Jersey. This jersey will also retail for $65.

In addition to these new jerseys and updated colors for the Vista kit, Summit shorts, V’al shorts, and Silhouette Riding Shirt, Sombrio has a couple new jackets in the 2017 lineup. The full zip Quarry Hoodie is a fun casual piece with quilted Tek Fleece and silicone dipped draw cords that add a pop of color. The new Chinook wind shell replaces the Marimba jacket. It is lightweight and packs into a pocket in the hood like the Marimba did. The Chinook though has a yoke design on the back that provides venting.
