With about 90% all new items and a new collections format for 2017, it goes without saying that Club Ride made some big changes. Before, Club Ride certainly had their own look. Some folks dug it and some less so. Now Club Ride apparel is divided into three collections: Tour, Trail, and Train. Among the many pieces to look forward to in 2017 between these collections, here were a few of the stand outs.

The Trail collection is where you’ll find the most technical and bike specific garments. Every detail from pockets to seams are placed with high level performance in mind. To the Trail collection, Club Ride adds the Passage and Traverse shorts. These trail riding shorts have a Velcro internal waistband adjustment, an update from the previous button system. Both match the new colors of the Promenade jersey.

Next up is the new Train collection. It is recommended that we supplement our time on the bike with a training regimen to help keep our bodies in balance as well as make us stronger. That is the focus of this collection which uses premium, lightweight fabrics and designs for when you are busting your buns off trail.

The Trixie tank top is a good looking top with a neat mesh back panel. The top also features a couple of back pockets which come in handy for stashing items when your training bottoms otherwise have no pockets.

The Double Time 7/8th length tight is a neat piece that looks like a yoga pant yet has a removable chamois pad. The thin pad is good for something like an hour long spin class.

The third collection, Tour, is designed for the outdoor multisport consumer who is cycle focused. It is a versatile offering that reflects the original Club Ride look for the outdoor and travel minded. These are the pieces you would want for that trip where you are living out of your backpack, doing laundry in an Airbnb without a clothes drier, exploring new places, and might even being lucky enough to ride a bike in a foreign land.

This collection features the new Bandera short sleeve flannel, some new colors for the Dear Abbey best seller top, and of course the Liv’n Flannel which no longer has contrasting piping along the yoke so it looks less western.

Among the Tour collection’s bottoms, the new Ventura Solid steps up to a midweight stretch fabric and has solid color options rather than prints like the original lightweight stretch Ventura short. The Freedom short also gets a new print.
