I've been rocking the same saddle since 2008. It works well for me either because it so happened to fit or after all this time, either myself or the saddle has been beaten into submission by the other. Getting a saddle doesn’t have to be a gamble though.

SQlab offers a simple fit system for matching your sit bone width to one of their 611 Ergowave saddle widths. Simply get an imprint of your bum, mark the centers of the pressure points, measure the width, do a little bit of math for your riding type posture, and you’re on your way to a more comfortable saddle.

The 611 Ergowave saddle comes in both carbon and Ti rail options and features an interesting “active bumper system” that allows the saddle to tilt slightly side to side to help accommodate some of the natural rocking motion that occurs while pedaling.

The saddle is offered in 12, 13, 14, and 15 cm widths to suit a wide range of riders and riding styles.
