True to Shebeest form, their booth at Interbike was another eye catcher. This time while cruising by, something different really caught my eye. Was that a baggy short? Yes, it was. The MTB style Skinny Americano short for 2017 was unbelievably stretchy and soft. You would have to feel it to believe it. Made from a 4-way stretch fabric, the short has a 10” inseam and a close fitting cut. The super sleek and slim look of the Skinny Americano shorts is preserved by Shebeest’s use of their SheBand in a panel at the back of the short’s waist. The SheBand fabric has a non-irritating soft grip as well as a good stretch. This eliminates the need for any additional adjusters and will keep the waist in place.

After learning about the Skinny Americano short, I had to see what other rad offerings Shebeest had tucked away among all the funky, fun, and flashy prints flooding the booth. This brought us to the Granny Panty. Despite the name, this is certainly nothing like your grandmother’s unmentionables. This sexy liner short feels like it’s made from the worlds lightest silk yet is touted to be durable enough for MTB and features a mountain bike chamois made from Airlight polyester with an anitbactieral ion treatment. Ooo la la.

Anybody ride a bike to and from yoga? How about hitting some indoor spin classes during the snowy months? Or just love wearing yoga pants? Here’s one you ladies may want to check out. The Shebeest Indie Convertible Capri looks like a yoga capri but comes with a removable cham pad. This cham has padding enough for middle distance saddle time and uses a silicone grip backing to hold it in place inside the capri. A mesh bag is included for incognito storage of the chamois while you’re not using it. This removable pad can also be used with any type of slim short/pant.

These were just a few of my favorite standouts from Shebeest who definitely seems to specialized in extra fun prints, patterns, and colors that can be worn on and off the bike, to the gym, and some for commuting. Their performance fabrics feel like they would be very comfortable while definitely designed to allow your feminine side to shine. Riding bikes can be enjoyed by any woman. With size ranges covering XS to XL and some in plus sizes 1X to 3X, any woman can enjoy Shebeest style too.
