Pearl Izumi’s women’s MTB lineup saw a number of updates for 2017. Additions to Pearl Izumi’s women’s MTB apparel include new colors like those on the Launch short sleeve and ¾ sleeve jerseys which match the new Launch short. The Launch short includes a liner short and the zippered cargo pocket has a divider inside of it so you can organize the contents. For instance, you could put some tissue on the inner most side of the pocket and leave your phone on the outer side. Then when you go pulling out your phone, there won’t be a tissue explosion.

The X-Project Elite clipless shoe was among those updated to make for an improved experience off the bike while still being efficient on the bike. The Carbon shank in the sole of the shoe was shortened to allow for more flex at the toe and heel. This change makes walking easier without impacting the pedaling performance. The sole also has softer rubber for better traction while off the bike.

The Summit glove is touch screen compatible, has a minimal palm that forms around the bars without bunching, and the knuckles are lightly padded with neoprene to help protect form some of the bushes you may ride by.
