Other news, anything about the Forbidden dh* team for 2025? They seem to be awfully quiet this year and their riders have only participated in a couple events...
Agree about Forbidden, that team just didn't seem to have a "team atmosphere"? Could be wrong and just how the season went for them.

Bulldog was at every WC round apart from Loudenvielle, both Hardlines, Crankworx Rotorua, Crankworx Whistler and he also raced the Combloux EDR. He was probably at more events than most.

Riley Amos obvs to Trek main team
Bjorn Riley to Scott-Sram
Marotte will have a new team with Origine bikes
Mona will leave Cannondale too
Santa-Cruz not sure on continuing
Neff to Cannondale
Wilier will close its marathon team and go all-in on the XCO
Any word on Lill? She's technically a privateer w/ some support from Cannondale and has been tearing it up, she deserves a factory ride.
Was Ollie signed on a 1 year contract to cover for Jackson? His results have been fairly solid, would be nice to see him retained/picked up by another top team.

she's considering staying privateer. she wants to keep her husband as manager and coach. she surely can get more backing from personal sponsors/brands after the great season she had

There were rumours of changes, but it seems like we're going to see a massive shake up in XC. Maybe there are budget cuts, and teams can't afford under performing riders taking up spots.
Am mostly surprised by the Bjorn Riley to Scott rumor. I thought he was going to stay with trek and go to the main factory team but maybe he doesn't want the number 2 treatment behind Riley Amos?

Are they having an additional rider - which seems unlikely; or which rider is leaving? Not Nino, and Andre is the son of the team owner, and I can't imagine them wanting to let Colombo go. Kate, like a number of riders could probably do with a change of scenery - and has been on the same team for too long.
Trek need another strong and consistent male rider alongside Riley Amos; I don't think Anton is that rider, and Vlad is provsionally suspended.
MTB transfers seem to take ages for teams to announce new signings. Compare to the road where they announce them from 1st August, and during the racing season. Another example of MTB being miles behind.
"but it seems like we're going to see a massive shake up in XC"
always the case the year after Olympics in XC isn't it? Although last time the covid delayed games in '21 screwed with plans... so I guess I mean, is this any worse than the 2016-2017 off season?
Additionally you've got rumours that Hatherley will go to the road, Pidcock won't MTB next year and Schurter likely to announce '25 as his retirement year with champs being in Switzerland.

There is a slim to zero chance Norco goes back into XC racing.

If you give this comment a thumbs down, you ride your bike without a saddle and a 240mm dropper.
Who can that be?
looks like a bear
Agreed. Probably a bear.
Lachie Ness Monster
I think that's a Union shade of iPhone markup black.
Laurie on his own bike and Nina's having a laugh at us all.
Can’t remember where i saw it but the forbidden team trailer was for up for sale
The lachie 8 ball.

"I need about tree fiddy"
Andreassen to Orbea.
Orbea 2024 line up all out.
Lapierre 2024 line up all out.
A lot of move on the xc side.

That’s Ellie Hulsebosch with Syndicate.
Danny selling his GT. New bike for next year?
is it the one with the links and bits cut out? 🤣 kidding
It is. Can see the cutaway on the SS bridge...
"Upgraded" more like "#modded"
Interested to know why it has Schwalbe tyres fitted. Otherwise it's as per his race spec for this year..
He probably has loads of old tires in his shed. Probably wanted to put on something new without wasting his continentals.
lol I see lots of people here riding without a saddle and a 240mm dropper lol 😂
15 down thumbs lol 😂
wow, it'll be musical chairs. I wonder who'll join the new Origine team with Marotte as the manager
