You're missing out on the fact that the teams are private businesses and they don't have to hire anyone.  If they don't want someone with potential baggage, that's their prerogative.  Given that racing is essentially done exclusively for marketing, it's no surprise that the big teams are taking a pass on him.  There's not some grand conspiracy trying to hold back your boy, just businesses doing cost/benefit analysis to what he'd bring to their brand image.

If Daprela felt he had a case for unfair dismissal you would think he would have taken legal action to the teams himself. The fact that he has built his own private program says a lot.

Action, consequence.

Staying as Team Director of Norco but that surely leaves a high level spot at NFR.

They are talking about adding up to 3 new riders for next season.

Watching Norco go from publicly announcing they were shutting down their race team to then signing Greg and now potentially adding 3 more riders has been quite the roller coaster but I'm here for it.

Not to mentioned they fired/laid-off a ton of staff in between the shutting down of the team and the Greg signing. Interesting to see what comes next.

I can a team possibly on the outside looking in based on new rules might take a flyer on him to get them into the big show.

Rumour of my demise have been exaggerated. We are safe. But we are forever changed. A water & wind event of near biblical proportions hit us & has taken far more lives than can be counted.  Didn't know where to make my one post, but this will be it for a long time.
No politician, no plan, no design could have stopped anything that happened here. A stream I could step across took the first home at the top of it.
A friend lost 10 members of his family saving his wife and kids watching his parents & relatives swept away by sudden mudslides.
BUT....and remember this....WE ARE BEING HELPED FROM PEOPLE FROM EVERYWHERE!
I'm so proud to say the herculean efforts from all over to respond when called are immense, immediate & amazing.

Do NOT....DO NOT believe a thing on the internet. I made that mistake to check in with friends. If you see a negative post or report about "efforts" or "failings" or "incompetence"...ignore it.  I am utterly humbled by the might of our American citizens to care for one another speedily and with LOVE!

Anyone...anyone in your family you haven't seen face to face or told you love....go right now and hug them!!!

Love you SPOMER!

He may well have a case for dismissal (I haven't heard that his legal troubles have been resolved yet) but even if it was as clear as day I can't see any team touching him until it's settled and the details are public. And even then, it's still baggage...

HAHA I was actively scrolling through stories hoping to get some videos from the madness.
Did Nina keep all her joints together this time?
Does Greg remember retiring?

 No luck.

Jacksons DJ set sounded good though.

Aso, what happened to Jess Blewitt? I saw her story that she was in the hospital.

Antoine Vidal gets the ball rolling early, signing off from Commencal Les Orres.

I don't find it crazy, they might not of have the ability to get along when they were in direct competition with each other, but now that has ended they may find they share some common ground. Tahnee's team may be having a little trouble with sponsorship (just a hunch and no facts to back this up, weird team setup though), maby if she can take some sponsors to Atherton it would be mutually beneficial.

Watched WynTV - TonyS mentioned new riders and a new bike for next season.

Aren’t there a bunch of commencal teams going?

I believe Dorval AM is gone, but Commencal Les Orres will continue.

Allegedly the Ravanels didn't agree to becoming part of a bigger operation.

He kept saying "BIG", which to be was a hint of sorts... So who's tall and out of contract?

My unfounded guesses are either Benoit and commencal on fmd...

Or fmd running Atherton frames with Kolb. In my mind, the Atherton makes a bit more sense as Tahnee has a huge social media presence, which the dragons den investment behind Atherton would certainly see as a plus. I could be wrong, but also believe they're all based in or around mid Wales.

There's a Commencal joke in there somewhere...

Be awesome to see FMD on Atheron, nothing against Commencal but be cool to see the Atheron brand grow.

Just a thought with changes in race team structure from WB, if the top Elite team are limiting their numbers due to costs and WB limiting general access, many of the Elite team don't have female representation. So, this will limit the fields of Women in the sport.

I'm not saying that team should be forced to add female riders, but without that, it may in a roundabout way decimate the female classes, just when it's been growing so well, and the racing is the best it has been for a long while.

Spesh Gravity, Mondraker, Atherton, Giant, Frameworks, Gravity Cartel with no women. Everyone else, mostly 1 female rider.

While we need to limit the numbers in the men's field as they are at some events out of control. But we need to further increase the women's field, to maintain the sustainability of good racing.

Maybe we are reading too much into the new bike comment... We know a new Sender, or a replacement for the Sender, is hitting production soon..

Exactly. I'm not sure they were on the same bike as Troy this year.

She was on the new Sender alls season long. Mille from CCFT and the rest of the FMD raced the current production model.

Anna Newkirk to frameworks? Saw some insta story with Neko pushing her bike with a good team rumors hastag lol. I think Angel Suarez Alonso was only on a one year contract. Would not be surprised if they renew though.

I was pretty sure that was what I remembered seeing,  but maybe confused myself with some pics of Mille's bike that I had seen..

Maybe they get the same bike the Canyon Collective Team is riding this year. I believe it was a prototype that Troy, Lucas, Millie were riding

Not sure this even qualifies as a rumor anymore but on the latest Downtime Neko said Lachie "is going to to one of the biggest teams in the industry"
