I'd say the shock is mounted more forwards with the link driving it less triangulated as a gut guesstimation, but yeah, something along those lines.
I guess you could update the simulation off this picture to see where the shock reaches to from the front mount? Maybe even try out a trunnion variant for shits and giggles (Super Deluxes do come in a 225 mm trunnion variant).
Wasn't the Hazzard Air due to be released for a while now? Were there setbacks in the development process?
As for the Demo: https://i.imgur.com/d3uxQVn.jpeg
My 2 cents...

My 2 cents. I'd say there's a rocker in front of the BB that is being pulled on by a link going under the BB and compressing the shock. And the pivot for said rocker is covered by the (lime marked) plastic side covers. This picture also pretty much confirms that the lower bolt we've seen in the pics under Finn can definitely not be a main pivot as the chainstay would hit the BB under compression.
Could be wrong though, QED, Yeti DH bike (split pivot and all).
I'm still holding out on my guess from way back when we first saw it under wraps...seems like it could be accurate?

If this analysis is correct, then Specialized is abandoning their very-forward main pivot. Thats a shame. I loved how the high (even rising) antisquat performs on their current Enduro.
Remember that spesh with the funky seat tube, looks like its going to be a road type bike (groad, gnarvel or whatever the latest offshoot is). Sent it to Wheelbased, but looks like he got asked to pull it. Spied it on one of the Spesh UK employees insta stories

I get that the main purpose is marketing, but from an engineering perspective a dropper post with a tiny bit of suspension built in would be a much better design/solution (like the Bike Yoke Divine). I guess that frame profile is recognizable from a quarter mile away......

Not necessarily, commencal supreme v5 went from high pivot to "virtual" high pivot where two links still place the pivot high, but its position changes through travel. There might be more links under that cover and it might still feel similar to the old suspension, but still a bit different. Because companies rarely change their suspension layout completely, usually its the evolution of what's been going for them for years
New Neuron on Quinney's profile. Seems the only real difference is headset cable routing. Chew my fat one Canyon.

geometry, lighter frame, chain device, frame protection, pivot hardware updates, cable routing, and "the wallet."
That's a decent amount of change even though it doesn't really look like it visually. Call it whatever you want, evolution, refinement. It's not just the same bike with headset routing. Did you want a whole new suspension layout?

Good photo of the new shock from trek factory racings page
those trousers look too big, long for the rider.

Nice one! Here's Wheelbased's blog post on the Spesh patent application: https://wheelbased.com/2023/02/05/bicycle-frame-with-angled-strut-by-sp…

TRP drivetrain coming in hot!
But if they do that they can't sell you a whole new bike...
The revised "Vivid Air" ?
What's that rear tyre? Also doesn't look like a mullet, at least not set up as one in that iteration.
Super Deluxe Air with an adjustable HBO.
More MY23 super deluxe coil with an air can.
Hunting Holly. I love Schwalbe but their names are shit.
Those cranks don't seem to be online anywhere either.
A better look at the tread and some truly abysmal stand photoshopping.
there is also TRP electronic shifting coming for 2024
Specced on this bike:https://rotoruabike.com/mtb-doble-suspension-275/69832-19186-commencal-…
Wow, I realllyyyy can't think of what this could be. Just absolutely stumped!
A distinct lack of cables from the handlebars has me thinking TRP finally re-invented downtube shifters

New Eagle is here.
Takeover is live on the Peebs, but SRAM's page isn't live yet.

Are TLD working on a Dropframe equivalent? On Kyle Straits instagram..
Neuron now live on Canyon.com. Longer, lower, slacker betterer. Downcountry+?

new eewings are not only for ebike but also 3 printed, and look quite good. 165mm only (for now?), $1300.
