They do have a point though. It does look familiar.
I really hope Specialized finally ditches the BRAIN damper. That thing is annoying af, never works quite right and has crap reliability. The Epic would have been such a good bike with just a regular non-proprietary shock.
Funniest part is the new Epic-Caliber was supposed to be released last summer, but Specialized was sitting on so many current Epics they couldn't. The bike has been done for a long time, just sitting in the warehouse.
Looks like only a brake hose coming from the left side…. Wireless dropper???
There are three cables in the picture, pretty sure one of them is for the dropper. The other two are for brakes obvs. The missing one is the shifter, but since it's AXS... Yeah...
Just seen this on Jesse’s insta..
what’s on the air shaft?

I believe it’s for a motion instruments data acquisition system. That’s how you mount their slider sensor to your fork. The sensor isn’t attached in the photo but you can see the other attachment point zip tied to the lower leg of the fork.
It's actually the sensor, forgot to screenshot the next story and now it's gone :(

Also, I believe GT will stick with the high pivot on the Force a little longer. At least for the next one or two generations.
You might not bee too familiar with the GT product line but the GT Force 29 still exists and isn't HP, only the GT Force 29 Carbone is a HP bike. That naming convention definitely makes it confusing for a lot of people and giving a different name to the Force 29 C would have probably been a good idea. Nonetheless the Force, Force 29 and Sensor were pretty much the same frames and this one seems to share many attributes with these frames.
He mentioned in the comments on his Insta that it was his telemetry.. Did we ever hear why he's on Spectral and not Strive? I asked him on that same post. Hopefully he will respond with his reasons

I actually sat on that bike and have been told it's the Sensor.
Was set up with a 34 and have seen another one with a 36. So 130-160mm(?) front and i think 135/155 at the back. Don't know geonumbers though.

I do not discuss the fact it will be called Sensor, this doesn't change the fact that the main/only obvious difference between the current Force/Sensor is the slimed down top tube. The rest looks very similar, suspension system included. Considering that the current Force/Sensor were not really successful I was expecting more changes. And considering how little has changed it is also very surprising how long it is taking them to release that bikes that we've known about for (more than ?) a year now.

You absolutely sure about that? I know an engineer who works at the company to whom Specialized outsources all their suspension development and he recently showed me a picture of the prototype. He said it wasn't finished.

Anyone know what dropper that is on Kazimer’s Fuel Ex?
That's a flat top chain. If you download the image, it indicate the photo has been taken on the 02/07
Kinda looks like pro tharsis, only two I know with that grey stanchion is pro and Thomson
Demo proto back in action
Looks like the Sommet frame finally has the bosses in the top tube that the Escarpe already had
Eye spy headset hose routing.
Good one, the Tharsis most definitely fits the picture.

Another rumor is that Trek has a new Supercaliber coming as well.
It would be hilarious if they ditched the current layout (which is a complete nightmare for suspension service), and left it for Speshy.

Thats something specialized would do looking at their record of designs :D
Was about to comment about the spring aircap on Jesse's bike too, based off the video he posted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aw0D1g5lwAM

He is also selling a ripmo on a Swedish second hand website.
New Specialized Enduro?
So. Kinda like the Fuel EX adjustable things after the SJ EVO?
I have last years Green frame and it had the bosses on the top tube. I was pleased and surprised since the photos didnt show them.

New DT Wheelset, with FR541 maybe?
Someone know where to find this Jekyll MX mullet link ?

I loved the 2020 Sensor. It was a fantastic bike
Cascade? 😜 (for the jekyll link)
As for DT Swiss, it would make all the sense. I wonder if it will be a 32 hole or a 28 hole affair.

Anyone know what brake calipers those are?
