Pivot took their Mach 6 back to the drawing board, with several key improvements made to the 6" flagship. The most notable evolution is the inclusion of a Di2-compatible battery storage space in the downtube, which allows riders to run Shimano's electronic shifting group while hiding the battery.

The frame goes Boost 148 (and the complete builds feature a 110-mm boost fork as well), and a re-designed shock clevis and a new 2-sided swingarm wishbone further improves stiffness.

The "Pivot Cable Port System" for internal cable routing helps keep everything clean, and fresh colors across the different models keep the frames looking good for 2016. The top of the line carbon build comes in a 12.4 kg (27.3 lbs), which the new aluminum model tips the scales at 13.7 kg.

The aluminum version keeps it simple with external cable routing.
