If you had the opportunity to comment online and create the bike of your dreams, what would you create? That's essentially what the German MTB News website asked of their users, and this is the second time they've done it.

The IBC 2.0 is made by Alutech and incorporates several ideas dreamt up by online users. MTB News first asked for ideas, sifted more than 15,000 comments, determined what was actually feasible, then sorted them into various polls, had users vote on the polls, and finally created the bike you see in front of you.

The bike uses a single pivot suspension design with a linkage driven shock to create the desired leverage curve and pedaling characteristics. They used a yolk that goes around the seatpost that fit any standard size shock.

We were very impressed by the attention to detail on the seatstay which features several machined nuances that really make it stand out. Some of them include front derailleur mount, cable routing, and a milled logo.

Other small details include internal and external cable routing, a milled logo on the head tube and seatstay, five color options, four different sizes, the lack of press-fit anything, 180mm rear post brake mounts, and the option to go frame only as well.
