The new Ritchey WCS C220 Trail Stem is going to be offered in a 35mm diameter variety for 2015. Aside from the diameter increase, for 2015 it has a new forward facing bolt design and 220-degree bar clamp for easier installation. It's a 3D forged alloy for extra strength and light weight. The stem has zero rise, is available in “Ritchey Blatte” black color only, and weighs 130g in the 70mm length. MSRP is $94.95.





Also new from Ritchey is the WCS Trail Bar with a 35mm diameter. WCS bars are made from seamless triple-butted 7000-series alloy. They are 780mm wide with cut guides for those looking to trim them down. Weight is 290g, and they retail for $84.95.

why is this even gaining momentum? i've never read a review where someone actually felt like it made a meaningful difference. If you need to tune stiffness then adjust wall thinkness with a 31.8 bar. Stop it.
