BikeYoke Revive 3.0 Seatpost
Vital Review
Overall Review
With an impeccable track record and oft-praised performance, the BikeYoke Revive is widely considered as the best dropper post that money can buy. Vital’s own testing confirms this, as we placed it at the top of the heap in our big dropper post shootout a few years ago. Not one for big marketing statements, BikeYoke has just released the third iteration of the Revive, with a number of small modifications that aim to improve things that could be improved without making any design changes where none were needed. Oh, and there is a limited edition run of 200 pieces with a silver lower tube, which...

BikeYoke Revive 272 Seatpost
Vital Review
Overall Review
With fewer and fewer mountain bikes featuring a 27.2 mm seat tube, BikeYoke had all but given up on making a 27.2 dropper – but then the gravel boom happened, and they finally got the push they needed to bring this project over the finish line. We don’t usually pay all that much attention to the gravel space here at Vital, but we know many of our readers DO, so consider this a PSA (you can always use it for your XC rig or why not for your kids’ bikes if you want to spoil them with one of the best droppers on the market, too…). BikeYoke Revive 272 Highlights Drop: 80mm (infinitely adjustable)...

BikeYoke Sagma Saddle
Vital Review
Overall Review
The saddle is obviously an important contact point, given how much time your butt will spend on it during any given ride. Saddle fit is an individual thing too, what with all the shapes and sizes of both peaches and their perches that exist. Now, if you know anything about BikeYoke, you’ll know that this small company is not in the game to just do what others have done before them, so it should come as no surprise that when they decided to enter the saddle game, they would do so with something a bit different if not unique. Meet the Sagma, a saddle that rides on elastomers to provide vibration...

BikeYoke Divine Seatpost
Vital Review
Overall Review
In 2016, when BikeYoke released their first dropper post – the Revive, they shot straight to the top of the heap thanks to a particularly innovative feature that let riders easily bleed the internals using an external valve, a process that took no more than 10 seconds to complete with a simple allen key. Additionally, the action of the Revive is incredibly smooth, and the many different sizes and lengths available and the super short overall stack height mean that there is a Revive to fit any bike and rider. In fact, the Revive is so good that it has been occupying the top spot in our big...

BikeYoke Divine SL Seatpost
Vital Review
Overall Review
Just a few short years ago, no serious XC racer would ever have considered a dropper post. They were too heavy for the weight weenies and few, if any courses required them anyway. Fast forward to today, and things are changing fast. The tracks are getting more and more challenging, and the posts are getting lighter at the same time. Are we at the tipping point? Will dropper posts be found on the majority of XC race bikes going forward? The purists may never convert, but with products like the new BikeYoke Divine popping up, they are going to be running out of arguments pretty soon. We slapped...
