Well-known moto brand Airoh produces MTB specific helmets as well. The 2015 "Fighters" helmet (top right and below) is an ASTM-certified DH helmet made from carbon and kevlar. It has a removable airfilter in the chinguard, and a "cover clip" that can be used to close down the vents on the top when it rains. Featuring a double-D chinstrap and Airoh's "Emergency Fast Remove" cheekpads, the Fighters weighs in at 900 grams.
The "SE101" SuperEnduro (top left and below) is Airoh's enduro-specific offering. Constructed from carbon and kevlar, it provides a more well-ventilated option to a full-on DH helmet. With removable cheekpads and a microadjust harness instead of an internal soft foam liner, the SE101 is meant to keep you cool on the climbs and protected on the way down. It has a GoPro mount, is CE-certified, and weighs in at 650 grams.
