New for 2015, Alpinestars will also offer backpacks. The larger 16L pack is called the Faster, and the streamlined 8L pack is the Sprint.
The Faster pack has a back protector compartment that houses a level 2 CE certified back protector. Additional features include a full face helmet strap, adjustable waist belt and sternum strap. The sternum strap includes whistle for emergencies.
Both packs have mesh panels on the back for ventilation and comfort, durable rip-stop nylon with PU-reinforced textile, an additional main compartment for hydration pack (sold as accessory upgrade), convenient front compartment pocket with waterproof zipper, pack away open face helmet carriers, and side mesh stash pockets.
The Sprint pack has a removable waist belt for those wanting to go as light as possible.
