Giro took the experience and knowledge gained from a new road shoe they launched last year and applied it to MTB. The Empire VR90 shoes have a synthetic one-piece upper, EC90 carbon outsole, and molded Vibram rubber tread. The insole is adjustable to suit various arch sizes. Two colors are offered at $300 per pair.
