Factor, a Novatec brand, has brought their new 727 DH wheelset to production. They feature 27mm internal width carbon hoops with an asymmetrical profile and some extremely fast engaging hubs. The wheelset will be available in both 150mm and 157mm spacing and will retail for $1,799, arriving in mid-June. Additionally, a lighter trail version is in the works, too.

The hubs use a double-ratcheting 6-pawl system which results in a very fast 3-degree engagement. The hubs will be offered in both standard and XD Driver configurations. Available in a number of colors, the hubs are also sold separately for $135 (front) and $269 (rear).
