If you've ridden a pair a VP Harrier pedals, you've probably taken a liking to their extremely large footprint and thin profile. We know we did when we tested them a couple years back. You also may have noticed the original axle design developed play over time. VP noticed, too and have redesigned the interface in an effort to remedy the issue. By losing the external nut that previously secured the axle to the pedal body, VP now uses what they call their AFC Axle (axial force control).

Unfortunately, due to the axle's now shorter length, the fix isn't backwards compatible. But, for those of you on the old version of the pedals, VP has a full rebuild kit available.
