Risse Racing was showing off one of their current projects; a one-off, custom e-bike powered by a 5000W Cromotor hub motor, dubbed “HUBZILLA.” Yes, the motor is rated at 5000W at 72 volts and weighs 27 lbs with a top-speed somewhere between 50 and 60 MPH. With speeds like that, the dual-disc brake front end is definitely warranted. This massive beast uses a Raspberry Pi controller allowing for custom settings and modes. Risse Racing is designing and fabricating the "Mad Max" completely in-house, and will also be making a custom rear shock that will handle the load while still offering 6-inches of travel to match the front end.
