Bontrager's new 35mm diameter Line and Line Pro series of bars and stems were designed to suit the aggressive rider's needs with widths going clear out to 820mm (32.3-inches). Moving to the larger diameter allowed Bontrager to drop a bit of weight without increasing stiffness - something they feel is needed to maintain a good ride feel and avoid arm pump. The Line bar is aluminum, while the Line Pro uses Bontrager's OCLV carbon.
