We didn’t talk about this on the podcast, but there’s a previous World Cup podium contender switching to enduro as well

I believe you (of course) but can barely believe any brand would pay someone to race Enduro. Zero coverage and no return for the brands.  It’s not worth it to pay those guys to fly around the world and for hotels. Sorry not sorry.

With Mr. Metallier you have to think it's related to the brands not having money for it anymore rather than not wanting to continue the relationship. No idea what he's like to deal with B2B behind the scenes but as far as clicks/exposure/talking up your brand directly to an audience, he's gotta be one of the best, guy's a pro.  No surprise to hear he was able to replace them in short order.

it's definitely an interesting case study to compare with some of the racers situations.

I can confirm that he is a professional in every sense of the word. He's been great to work with.

half baked comment. obviously luck can be a major factor in downhill racing. but he also was seemingly the most prepared for that race on that day. winning doesn't happen by accident, even on a track you know well in conditions you excel in.

Kolb also has said them two practising together, at times he can’t keep up and or he uses him to gauge his pace.

Might of been referring to the last race at the time, perhaps fortbill

Edit: looks like he was essentially able to replace all 3, however (video is a bit longwinded, as it goes into the current industry downturn first.)

Care to share the details?

Gotta assume the man's going to get them their money's worth with specific announcements and content when the time is right.

Yes, sorry could have added more. Sounds like he has the "?" lined up, but he was working on release/reveal videos for them.

Personally, I think Remy has to be one best sponsorship opportunities in the sport or maybe I live on youtube a bit too much.

That’s her bike for sure, just waiting on MS Racing announcement, it should be in the next hours since she’s racing the DH Urbano of Manizales tomorrow.

handy chart from the other site . A few there that people seem to have pretty strong rumors on but still a few with decent points to be picked up . 1000028750 0.png?VersionId=PUrOdwTVNL6uvyRAwDW4.uQQPQO4l

What about everyone's favorite racer/interviewer, Wyn? Last year he made lots of posts about "his last"

Did he retire? I havent seen anything published on that.  His profile still says GT factory racing, but uh... that seems to be a no go.

Anyone know whats up there?

Also on GT, Brage and Tommy G. Where are these two heading to? Surely, Red Bull helmets get you a frame sponsor.

I'm sure normally Wyn wouldn't have any trouble finding a brand to work with for whatever it is he was wanting to do , but if the GT thing was last minute it might be a lot harder as all the brands will have their budgets allocated.
