Well .....the Scott, and Pivot are still going (just) , the V10 and Glory have only just been updated (and pretty lightly). Did the current Demo come out in 2019? Why are the M29 and Aurum Hp regarded as being so bad?
Covid and the bikopolypse knocked releases back but DH bike development is pretty slow.

Both the HSP and the M29 suffered from terrible kinematics. They are hyper progressive resulting in a very soft initial 30% of travel and very firm last 30% of travel. The result is you end up with wallowy midstroke support and harshness deep in the travel disrupting the rider position and requiring a lot of rider input to keep stable. The lack of support in the first half of the travel made cornering very challenging. HSP in particular had a very flat initial leverage curve which meant compression support came on late and delayed rider inputs during corner engagement.
Of the two the HSP was probably the better bike just because with the axle path effect on leverage you could run a firmer spring with fewer downsides to tracking in the rough.
I gotta go back and watch 2023 Worlds. Remember nothing.Wait...how DO you go back and watch it? Who owns the rights?I remember watching via a VPN...

For us Australians we can watch the replays in full, on demand and for free of the last few World Champs on SBS on Demand who owns the rights for the UCI World Championships across all cycling disciplines.
Ok, had to stop the pit bits for this very important question: Where can I get those custom name tyre hot patches like Nina Hoffman? I will be very clear here, money is no object!
Update: https://www.stickythings.co.uk cheap enough, but will take a bit of time to design the patch and could end up looking rubbish. Will probably give it a go one day for the laugh.
Action from junior training today (first half of the edit, the second half is the elite trackwalk...it's all in French but you can turn on youtube's autotranslate captions if you want to follow along...):
flo sports tv schedule for USA. no junior racing shown. anyone know if juniors are broadcast anywhere? what's that site that kindly distributes webcasts all the time? izo or something?

Frameworks continuing to do cool stuff - they decided to spend money on frame improvements as opposed to flashy paintjobs for Worlds:

Absolutely brutal slam @12.07. I hope she's OK. Edit; Apparently she dislocated her hip, but is otherwise OK.

bernard's bike and vlog
That was brutal. Forgot you put that warning in & it just caught me off guard. I hope she doesn't have any serious head trauma b/c of that either.
Imagine thinking you're on the wooden roll, then that moment of realisation as your front wheel drops off the road gap (BK's vlog @12.30).
