So, just to recap. So far we know or have reason to believe the following teams to quit Enduro racing after the 2023 season:
GT Factory Racing
Rocky Mountain Race Face
Ibis Cycles Enduro Race Team
Devinci Global Racing
Polygon Factory Racing Team
Cannondale Enduro Team
Yeti / Shimano EP Racing
I'm pretty sure the Yeti/EP team will continue as E-Enduro will be the only ticket come 2025. I'm also pretty convinced that the Yeti program will be the one to split into DH and E-enduro
He is probably just wondering when Yuroshek will stop chatting him up and talking about how he broke himself as a tester for Vital 🤣🤣🤣
"My truck's over there. Just detailed it. You wanna see it?"
And according to 'Shek, no Husky DH team. He said they're doing just eebs.
But there are other brands in that conglomerate that I'd be interested to see do a DH squad.
"Joining the Monster team has been a dream of mine for years, I’m just so hyped to be a part of such a sick line up of riders and to work with a company who creates awesome opportunities for freeride mountain bikers. I can’t wait to work on some really exciting projects with the team…I’ve got some new ideas for video projects that I want to put out, and some fresh lines to dig in my backyard. Hyped to work on some dreamy projects with the team!" - Vero Sandler

heard as well that Yeti will split into E Enduro and DH Team. That is crazy…wining the Enduro Overall and then move to DH…

That could line up with the development of the bike and Richie getting on it early enough before they drop the enduro program so he can keep racing with them and prove the bike works. I like this one.

I think it is inevitable that non-motorized bikes become a rarity on the trails, but I was really hoping it would take another 10 to 15yrs. If this occurs it non-motorized trail riding is officially in its waning hours.

It is my understanding the entire DH project is driven by Richie. Having the EDR die off and become E-EDR is helping also. With the current E-EDR team for Yeti being Shimano/Yeti and a development platform for STEPS it makes sense that will continue.

One thing that I hope they have considered if the whole E-EDR only in 2025 rumours are true: here in France E-bikes have been accepted quite early and more and more people buy them, most bikes I see on trails are electric at this point... But no one races them! At a regional enduro race, you might get 200 mtb racers and less than a hundred ebike racers. DH numbers seem to be trending upwards also.
And I say this as a rider that only rides ebikes, does a bit of racing and tries to get some info about E-EDR. Really not sure 99% ebike riders care one bit about ebike racing (as participants or spectators).

I wish someone made a co2 holder for those upper mounts not something designed to go under a bottle cage so it would be narrower
The NukeProof one comes with 3 different size straps.
You can run it full strap/tube/tools style.
Medium strap for a small stash.
Small strap look you can fit between water bottle & mount to hold a pump or CO2 .
I assume all the other brands sell it the same with multiple straps?
Yohann has been riding that Devinci for at least a few weeks if not a couple months.
My guess is that GG cut him loose and was left high and dry since it's mid-season and no companies have random budget around to sign a 2 or 3 year deal with him. He would not want to sign with a company for the rest of the year for a discount since it would hurt his chances for getting a longer/bigger deal.
He probably hooked up with Devinci through Steve and they sent him a bike. My guess is he's trying to find a longer term deal but might have to wait until budgets free up around end of year for new signing so he's just riding the bike and staying low profile. Devinci likely doesn't have the money he's asking for but they're trying to make him fall for their bike so he takes a pay cut. Although in this tight bike economy in 2024 he'll probably not be able to pull the kind of money he did in the GG deal.

So how big of a social media impact does he have?
I can't ride the things he does & can't pay attention to him or Metallier's accents the same as I can't pay attention to Cedric for the same reason. So I NEVER watch their edits.

I’m guessing it’s more of an impact than the enduro team they just cancelled. That might make some space for whatever salary he’s asking?
Whether you’re able to handle his accent or not (I’m not sure why someone would have an issue with that), you can’t deny he brings more stoke and positive energy to the sport than most.

As far as off-topic goes, c02 mounts in the team rumors thread is VERY FAR OFF TOPIC.
Let me try to reel things back in: Honda to return in 2024 with a new carbon, gearbox, high pivot bike, and full factory support to one rider: #joshyfrothah.

dak at US open seeming REALLY interested in this husky. we know how much he loves moto, so maybe???

I seem to remember Richie winning junior world champs then moving the complete team to enduro so it’s not like they haven’t done it before.

BC, Canada has a huge rebate program in place for e-bike purchases but it seems the vast majority of bikes I saw on trails and bike parks were still the good old human-powered kind.
Meanwhile, in the developing world, e-mtb's are more of an expensive novelty, affordable only by the upper crust.
Going back to team rumors, is the reported demise of the e-enduro world cup not true then?
It is my understanding the entire DH project is driven by Richie. Having the EDR die off and become E-EDR is helping also. With the current E-EDR team for Yeti being Shimano/Yeti and a development platform for STEPS it makes sense that will continue.
not true. In 2024 ERD will still be here as well as E-EDR but in 25 EDR will be gone and only E-EDR will remain.
… but why!!!
EWS was such a close experience. You could race on the same trails and on the following day cheer for the pros.
Yes coverage is difficult, but highlights a couple days later + all the vlogs is fine!
That's based on income, if you can afford one of the e-bikes we think of, you ain't getting much of a rebate.
One Up email out this morning, Baguette mounted to a Norco...
... Very sneaky way to announce Yoann? Or just to stoke up this forum

I was hoping for more that one, this is not really any different that the one up
Topeak and Pivot sell essentially the same design for the same price.
I just ordered the Topeak ninja master+ co2.

comes with multiple mounting options

There. That's better.
Please tell me that he makes low 5 figures by using spz helmets A YEAR and not a month haha.
