I went back and looked at this again, and I don't think it's Mikey in front, I think he's filming. He's got a white helmet half helmet and when Gavin wear a half his is black. Gavin rides for Specialized.

Seth was tagged 6d ago by TRP for their new drivetrain and it was him and Cody Kelly in the vid (in what looks like SoCal). Seth's on a Intense and Cody on Specialized. That could be months old footage, though.

Windrock lists the Commencal Supreme, Commencal Furious, and Specialized Status as rental bikes. Gwin has owned Windrock since October. If there was a relationship between Windrock's rental fleet and Gwin's racing partner, I'd think the rental fleet would have seen a turnover with new ownership. Anyone know how long Windrock has been renting Commencal bikes?

Commencal going for a big name American rider could be a similar strategy that Mondraker is taking with Dak. Get an American on your product so that Americans are more comfortable riding these lesser-known brands.

Fun stuff.

People don't understand that rental fleets aren't so much a "locked in supply chain" from a single bike company.

They're "is there any supply when stuff breaks from ANYBODY?" OK...we'll take 'em.  You take what you can get for park rentals.  You're not throwing a lot of weight at bike companies because people are just gonna ride the damn near most clapped out version of your bike there is & you have no way to track a sale back to the park.

Heck, I remember a few years back, Neko was racing for YT & the story as to why they didn't have them as a rental fleet when he was still part owner was they had zero margin and the price on the website was pretty much E.P.

Unable to verify - was driving near Richie Rude home turf and then this happened!  Is Gwin co-spiff with Intend Brakes, going forward?  The Brand apparently ships a brakeset w/ a roll of TP included.  Me thinks this is AG2

Saw an AG post about a giveaway at Winrock Bike Park. I think AG has partnered with RockShox for his racing program

Neko's park is sponsored by Michelin and Sram...I would not read much into that.

As a matter of fact, is there anyone in this forum that can say they've seen AG on a bike since mid-last season?

I have. But I lie for internet fame and status.

That’s fair. Most likely 2 separate business decisions, 2 different purposes. 👍

WTF?  Re-read the last-five-posts and forget the fact I just dated myself for a moment... thanks.

How can we say that in fact was not Aaron Gwin going over a potential new contract w/ Intend Brake?  He is being elusive if not by default and, to reiterate, that Spy Shot was taken just outside of Colchester Conn.

Maybe Windrock Porto-Pottie testing, which also pulled R&D for Intend Brakes?? It all adds up in the end Doods - this is no coincidence.  Just doing my job.

Vali not racing world champs this year? Current Mob story lists all the race dates for the riders. Sian and Oisin have world champs listet while Vali does not

edit: they seem to have removed it now. Maybe it was just a mistake

Not team rumours but kind of team rumours

GMBN making a big deal of a new bike partner. They must be one of the biggest influencers of actual sales in the world, far more impact than a DH team obviously. Assuming not canyon or orbea as been there before who is big enough with deep enough pockets. Brands dropping out of racing and a race team has to be cheap compared to that deal. I wonder if that is actually the single most expensive "team" sponsorship.or am I talking tosh?

Giant or spesh seems obvious both also do road and Tri for their sister channels.

minus Gwin's frame sponsor, is silly season wrapped up??

All signs point to Gwin hinting/announcing his frame partnership on the podcast tonight.
No prior knowledge on my part. Just the fact that an awful lot of accounts are sharing that the pod is coming up.

That's the Big Mountain enduro's podcast. They did one last week with the Arkansas State Park's Monument Trails liason in charge of the Nebo Race. Maybe he's going to announce something, but I think it's just going to be about the BME at Windrock.

I don't know if you have all heard, but it looks like Danny Hart's riding a Nukeproof. Wild. Could not have seen it coming the last few months 😂

It's gotta be Gwin to Nukeproof with Danny. Danny was just running interference by getting seen everywhere, while Gwin was doing rapid development on the new frame. 1mm different link length and it's perfect for the season to come. Well done Team!

I really wonder about all the suspense surrounding Gwin's announcement, makes me think it 100% can't be Intense at the very least. I don't see a reason why he would wait THIS long to announce that he's keeping everything exactly the same, unless he is a real big drama queen or something.

It must be a big change, I called it weeks ago and sticking with my first guess. HAS to be Yeti, I bet they are itching to take over the DH scene in the USA again.
