Well, it does look like the present Dorado, nothing new according to this video. And yet, from what i know about the new one, it might just be it as it should be pretty close in parameters (at least on the outside).

Hard to tell anything from these photos but I'd say they might have increased the diameter of uppers/stanchions, if you zoom into the sceenshot posted above it seems like there is no edge of rather distinct hump for lower crown found in the present fork...
And they might have gone with the mezzer approach, new damper (not that old one was lacking anything, had pretty much all of the modern tools like 10 years ago), stock IRT 3 chamber air spring on pro model and 2 chambers with tokens on expert...

I think it'll be 20x110 boost with shorter offset and IRT standard in the Dorado Pro.
The only way they could make it better would be to offer a coil option everything else is already awesome!

Think IRT is already standard from stock on the current Dorado. As for the coil option - you’re not missing anything special: had a coil-converted Dorado for several years (model year 2010 or 2011), although it did work very good, it wasn’t any better than an air one. But it did weigh more - 3220g, to be precise.

Not what i’ve been told - that they’ll keep the 36mm stantions, they’ll make it lighter by using different material, as for the internals - the hopes are high!
i've got $500 for the best fake tech post that smurfwaif poaches for an article on PB.
I've actually been thinking of dropping some subtle bullshit in my articles to see if I can catch someone slippin. I think I'll start doing it for the bounty. Would be super easy to catch someone since no one actually reads the documents themselves as a check, they'll just summarize mine.
I hope people read this. You better take the time to read the document before you lift my shit.

I'm pretty light at 60kg and have trouble getting full travel out of my Dorado even with the IRT so that's why I mentioned having a coil version.
Here's a follow-up from yesterday's Ohlins article. This is about the same shock but they're also developing an external air volume adjustment system that pushes a piston into the damping chamber, which expands a flexible bladder to adjust the air volume. Pretty nifty shit.
Also, dont forget that you had first gen V10s (designed by intense at the time) and Intense M3s with that lower shock design as early as...
Also, dont forget that you had first gen V10s (designed by intense at the time) and Intense M3s with that lower shock design as early as 2001/2002. Although the outland most likely predates all of them, since they invented and originally held the patent for VPP.
Don't think Intense were designing SC VPP bikes
Maybe ask Dave Earle/Joe Graney who were around at the time
I wonder if they're testing a similar idler position to what the Scott team did back in the day, right at the main pivot. That should help isolate chain forces from the suspension, right?
